I went to Amsterdam last weekend and, of course, to Van Gogh Museum. I do not relate my practise to this Master's however, it is always exciting to have the opportunity to observe these icons. It was impressive how enormous the museum was and how crowded it was too. Almost all walls are grey, which gives each room a dark environment. Each room is divided by dates of the artist's life, so all paintings are chronologically presented. In my opinion, it is an interesting way of analysing the painter's life, both private and artistic.

All of Van Gogh's paintings have his unique touch and style, as all art history books teach us.
